News from MOSES

The Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service (MOSES) is a nonprofit organization, based in Spring Valley, Wis., that provides education, resources and expertise to help farmers grow organic.  The organization puts on the annual MOSES Organic Farming Conference, the country’s largest organic farming event. MOSES also organizes on-farm field days about organic production. MOSES Organic Specialists answer farmers’ questions through the Organic Answer Line (715-778-5775 or 888-551-4769) and online at This website offers practical farming information plus access to resources such as the Upper Midwest Organic Resource Directory, the Guidebook for Organic Certification, and the bi-monthly Organic Broadcaster newspaper.
