The Sustainable Student Farm is a 5-acre vegetable farm using organic methods at the University of Illinois. The farm acts as a facility for students to learn about vegetable production. The farm grows 35-40 different crops primarily for the U of I dining services but also for a weekly farm stand on campus. This position reports to the farm manager. Responsibilities include all phases of vegetable crop production including soil preparation, planting, harvesting, weed and pest management, and other aspects of crop production.
