Field Crew Leader
The Field Crew Leader is responsible for managing a team of 2 – 3 field crew workers who will complete the bulk of the farm’s weekly harvest tasks as well as occasional weeding and hand-planting tasks. The Field Crew Leader reports to the farm’s managers. The Field Crew Leader also works closely with the Packhouse Crew to accomplish weekly harvest tasks. This position requires an individual who is highly self-motivated, leads with a positive attitude, takes pride in a job well done, and has a mindset towards working efficiently. The work of this position is almost entirely outside in the fields.

The Field Crew consists of 2 – 3 staff who are responsible for completing the bulk of the farm’s weekly harvest tasks as well as occasional weeding and hand-planting tasks. The Field Crew members work alongside and report to the Field Crew Leader. The team also works closely with the Field Managers (George and Jeremy) and Packhouse Crew (Laura and Page) to accomplish weekly harvest tasks. This position requires an individual who enjoys rigorous physical-labor, has a positive attitude, works well with others, and has a mindset towards working efficiently and with a healthy sense of urgency.
Summer Intern
This internship offers those interested in immersing themselves in the work and lifestyle of chemical-free farming a great way to get a taste of this kind of work. Interns will be exposed to the following farm departments: Seed-starting / Transplant House, Packhouse, and Fieldwork (including hand-planting, harvesting, and weeding). The intern will report to the farm’s managers and/or crew leaders in order to complete a wide array of weekly tasks that fall within the departments mentioned above. Compensation includes meals and housing if needed.
